Urban Greens is seeking new board candidates to nominate for election at this year’s annual owner meeting! Joining the board is a great way to work with store leadership to guide and grow Urban Greens!

Urban Greens welcomes individuals with the willingness and ability to commit time, and a diversity of experiences, perspectives, information, connections, and skills. We are developing a Board of Directors that reflects this and that represents the diverse communities our co-op serves.

The board is always looking for a strategic combination of knowledge, expertise, energy, and competencies and are especially in need of candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Finance
• Fundraising
• Facilitating meetings and group discussions
• Project Management (Able to take on responsibilities in between meetings)
• Organizational Development
• Community Organizing

Please note: Candidates are not expected to have all of these skills or experiences, and we encourage anyone who feels passionate about our work and believes they can meaningfully contribute to apply!
