Urban Greens is seeking new board candidates!
Joining the board is a great way to work with store leadership to guide and grow Urban Greens! Who will you nominate?
Are you interested in getting involved?
Urban Greens welcomes individuals with the willingness and ability to commit time, and a diversity of experiences, perspectives, information, connections, and skills. We are developing a Board of Directors that reflects this and that represents the diverse communities our co-op serves and particularly encourage Food For All members to apply.
The board is always looking for a strategic combination of knowledge, expertise, energy, and competencies and are especially in need of candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Community Organizing
- Facilitating meetings and group discussions
- Project Management (Able to take on responsibilities in between meetings)
- Organizational Development
Please note: New Board Candidates are not expected to have all of these skills or experiences, and we encourage anyone who feels passionate about our work and believes they can meaningfully contribute to apply!
If you’d like to apply to become a board member, please mail ugcouncil@urbangreens.com for more information, click this link to apply, or Find more information at the links below.
